What is it?
Leadership Embodiment is a method that gives you powerful tools to be your best self… under pressure! This is especially useful if you ever find yourself in challenging situations, difficult encounters, or tough conversations.
Often, you know what you should do (beforehand… and afterwards 😉), but actually managing it in the moment—when you tend to freeze up or fall into familiar, ineffective patterns—is the real art. Leadership Embodiment is the practical key to mastering that art.
How does it work?
Leadership Embodiment uses principles from Aikido and Mindfulness and is based on biomedical insights. Instead of working from your head and with theory, we focus on your body, your posture, and directing your attention and focus. Through this direct physical experience and practice, you more easily understand what’s needed in situations where you feel under pressure. As Confucius said: “I hear and I forget, I see and I remember, I do and I understand.” Being able to apply this yourself in stressful situations becomes much easier.
What does it bring you?
Through this practical approach and simple exercises, you learn a shortcut (back) to several essential brain functions: the ability to see the bigger picture, empathy and connection, creativity, and balanced self-confidence.
For whom?
In my view, it’s a must for every leader or anyone aspiring to a leadership role. But it’s also more than useful for anyone who wants to develop themselves in their professionalism and personal leadership.
By whom?
My name is Jerome ten Noever de Brauw. I have been a trainer and coach in Leadership, Influence and Impact, and Personal Effectiveness for 28 years—and I’m still learning. “Leading without Power” is one of my favorite trainings, so I can tell you a lot about influencing and strengthening collaboration, but Leadership Embodiment is truly one of the most beautiful gems I’ve come across and still enjoy daily (… and am extremely grateful for in some situations).
What does it cost?
Currently, it’s free. Well, it costs some of your time, an open mind, and a willingness to practice and explore. For you, it’s an opportunity to learn something very practical; for me, it’s a chance to share something valuable (because in my view, that’s where multiplying begins).
